Introducing Rael One Cloud

Newest VHJ Team Blogger

The newest blogging team member to join the Vermont Homeless Journal is Rael One Cloud.

Rael recently moved back to Vermont again, after living elsewhere for a time. As stated within her first blog post earlier today (Monday, May 26, 2003), she is currently living homeless in Burlington.

Having first met her years ago, through the Another Way Drop-in Center located in Montpelier Vermont, Rael is someone I have slowly come to know, off and on, over the last ten years or so.

As anyone who becomes a regular reader of the Vermont Homeless Journal will surely come to realize and appreciate for themselves, being so deeply gifted a poetic soul, how highly creative and intensely passionate Rael is.

Her interests and passions include writing, poetry, arts, music, comics, satire, travel, thrift-shopping and cooking (which she is really good at too, of course). In fact, Rael used to be one of the main cooks for the Another Way Drop-in Center weekly Friday evening community meals).

She is a very resourceful person with a good sense of humor and a sharp wit who, in her own unique fashion, is definitely resilient.

For anyone in the Burlington area who either has or knows of apartments rentals and could help her out, I personally vouch that Rael would make a good tenant. If you know of a place she can rent, please post information by leaving a comment below one of Rael's blog postings or send an e-mail to the Vermont Homeless Journal and it will be forwarded on to her asap.
