At the moment, I am homeless. 'Homeless with a roof' is the convienient terminology the Burlington locality has to mean 'crashing at a friend's place.
My section 8 is supposed to come up soon, so I am hopeful that I won't be in this divine state of inconvienience for MUCH longer, but it's not the first time I've been there.

Hi, I'm Alyssa, one of the 5 students that did the 24 hour homeless experience. I of course understand that this whole thing was far from real. How can it be real when I know about my home, and the comforts of my life waiting?

Wow, I had no idea how much this experience would affect me. I can't believe how open and friendly that people at Another Way are.
I however wasn't prepared for how real the experience would be. When it hit, it hit hard; but I was determined to go through with it no matter how uncomfortable I was. The stress of just finding someplace to lay down and get some sleep was the worst.
