"Honorary Homeless First Timers"
College students
experience homelessness first-hand
during night out
on the streets of Montpelier
Friday afternoon (April 11, 2003) found five Sterling College students begin their 24-hour experience of homelessness first-hand, as part of a night out on the streets of Montpelier. This was done in conjunction with their community service project portion of college course requirements.
Invitations have been sent to each of these five individuals to become the very first team members of the Vermont Homeless Journal (VHJ) multi-blog.
Once they accept their invitations, they will begin blogging concerning the focus of this blog and will introduce themselves as well as share their observations and experiences out on the streets from their own perspectives.
Welcome all.
